Sickle Okatsune 405

The sickle is one of the oldest tools of mankind. The Okatsune 405 is ideal for cutting flowers and grass and for weeding. The sickle has a razor sharp curved blade with a length of 150 mm and a thickness of 2.0 mm. The wooden handle is 335 mm long and is easy to spot in tall grass because of its red color.

Maintenance

The sickle is constructed from a few components, so that there is little maintenance required. It is recommended to clean the blade after each use. After cleaning it is recommended to oil the sickle, and store moisture free. If you notice that the sickle are cutting less well, you can grind it using the Okatsune whetstone (Okatsune 412).
